IS 7301 : 1974 Specification for Grinding Mandrels

1 Scope

Specifies the requirements for grinding mandrels used forholding workpieces having bore diameters within tolerance zone H7.For this purpose the mandrels are required in pairs, the taperdimensions being so chosen that mandrel No. 1 takes the smallerbores within tolerance zone H7 whilst mandrel No. 2 takes thelarger bores within this zone. These mandrels can be repeatedlyassembled to the workpiece with coincidence maintained between themandrel axis and the workpiece axis.
