1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies constructional, operational andsafety requirements and performance requirements for commercial gasbaking and roasting ovens of capacities more than 100 dm3, intended, for use with liquefied petroleum gases at30 gf/cm2 gas inlet pressure. They may be composedof one or more sections or units, as follows:

a) Cabinet Ovens - A stationary deck oven having more than onedeck heated by a single burner or group of burners

b) Sectional Oven - A single stationary deck oven or onecomposed of one or more independently heated stationary decks

c) Reel-Type Oven - A single oven having trays moved bymechanical means

Note - The capacity of the oven shall be the area of innersurface of the oven door in square decimetres multiplied by thetotal inner depth of the oven in decimetres measured from the frontto the rear wall of the oven.
