1.1 This standard specifies the dimensions and their tolerancesessential to ensure interchangeability of screw cores offerromagnetic oxides. This applies to This two types of screwcores:

Type A Screw cores (threaded cores) primarily for use inpre-threaded coil tormers.

Type B Screw cores (threaded cores) suitable for cuttingdirectly in the coil former.
