1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the general plan for cylindrical gearsof involute, modified involute flank forms, comprising of gearswith straight or inclined teeth for connecting parallel shafts.

1.2 This standard covers the inspection methods for gear teethon cylindrical gears of module 1 to 70 and with reference circlediameter up to 10 000 mm graded in 12 gear tooth qualities.
