1. Scope

This standard prescribes the requirements of polyamide (nylon) monofilament yarn of the following two types used generally in hook and line fishing and gillnet fishing:

a) Type 1 - polyamide monofilament yarns used for hook and line fishing, and

b) Type 2 - polyamide monofilament yarns used in the fabrication of gillnets.
