1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part II) covers general and minimumperformance requirements of ac and/or battery operated twin-track,mono-aural sound recording and reproducing equipment utilizing twinhub cassette, primarily used for entertainment purposes.

1.1.1 The tape recorder part of a combined unit such as radioreceiver cum tape recorder or radio receiver cum record player cumtape recorder is also covered by this standard.
