1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 3 : Sec 1) covers the assembly dimensions,performance requirements and methods of test for electrically operated windscreen wiper arms for automobiles.

1.1.1 This standard does not apply to:

a) three wheelers operating on mechanical controls, and

b) vehicles of special design intended for purposes other than transport ofpeople or goods.
