IS 783 : 1985 Code of practice for laying of concrete pipes

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers recommended design practice for thelaying of precast concrete pipes. It includes methods forcalculating loads on pipes according to installation conditions,and gives the corresponding load factors.

1.1.1 This standard is intended primarily for use in associationwith IS : 458-1971 and IS : 784-1978 for pipes, but may also beused for the calculation of loads on other rigid pipes.
