NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Second Revision) which is identical with ISO 6414 : 2020 ‘Technical product documentation (TPD) — Technical drawings for glassware’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Drawings Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 1973 and subsequently revised in 1983. The original standard was based on BS 2774 : 1956 ‘Drawing conversions for laboratory glass apparatus’, issued by the British Standards Institution. First revision of this standard was identical with ISO 6414 : 1982. The second revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 6414.
