1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies basic requirements for point eyehooks of 8 tonnes capacity capable of being used for lifting ISOSeries 1 freight containers of up to 30 tonnes capacity (see IS6566 : 1972) and which are equipped with top corner fittingscomplying with the requirements of IS 7694 : 1975
