NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 14) which is identical with ISO 17699 : 2003 ‘Footwear - Test methods for uppers and lining - Water vapour permeability and absorption’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Footwear Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.
