1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard (Part II) prescribes practices to be followed in refinishing (painting) of already painted passenger cars. It covers surface preparation and finishing of cars using synthetic enamels and finishing of cars using synthetic enamels and nitrocellulose lacquers.
