IS 822 : 1970 Code of procedure for inspection of welds

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the recommended procedures for theinspection of welds.

1.1.1 This code is not limited to any specific process method ofmanufacture or type of fabrication, but is intended to be a generalguide, from wham the provisions should be selected for individualapplications.

1.2 This standard does not stipulate any acceptance standards.These shall be subject to mutual agreement and would depend uponthe nature and end use of the weldment.
