This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC 72-2 : 1990`Dimensions and output series for rotating electrical machines -Part 2 : `Frame numbers 355 to 1000 and flange numbers 1180 to2360' issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendationof Rotating Machinery Sectional Committee (ET 15), and approval ofthe Electrotechnical Division Council.
