IS 8292 : 1992 Method of test for evaluation of working quality of timber under different wood working operations

1 Scope

This standard covers methods of conducting following operations(tests) for evaluating working quality of timber:

a) Planing,

b) Sanding,

c) Turning,

d) Shaping,

e) Mortizing, and

f) Boring.

These are the common wood working operations used in themanufacture of timber stores and products.
