IS 8339 : 1993 Specification for Automotive vehicles - Reflex reflectors - Specifiction

1 Scope

1.1 This Indian Standard covers the requirements for reflex reflectors foruse on all automotive, including three wheelers, motorcycles, scooters andmopeds and their trailers. It includes recommended sizes, tests for colour andintensity of light and other tests applicable for quality and performance.

1.2 It also covers reflex reflectors moulded/assembled with other opticalunits like tail lamp, direction indicator etc. In case of reflex reflectorassembled with other optical units, the reflector shall be tested separately.
