IS 8402 : 1987 Methods of Sampling and Test for Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tapes

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the methods of sampling and testfor pressure sensitive adhesive tapes, such as cloth tapes, PVCtapes, cellulose tapes and a variety of plastic film/basematerials.

1.2 This standard is not intended to apply to rubber latex or toadhesives used for miscellaneous purposes or those manufacturedfrom materials of vegetable origin.
