IS 8534 : 2024 Mine Tub Couplings and Drawbars for Use in Mines
1 SCOPE
1.1 This standard covers the dimensions, material, tests and general requirements for various types of couplings and drawbars used in mines for connecting mine tubs in a set of tubs and having a minimum safe working load of 30 kN.
1.2 This shall be applicable to all the types of Mine Tub Couplings and Draw Bars, as annexed to this standard and mentioned as Types A, B, C, D, E and F (50 kN capacity) and G (30 kN capacity).
