IS 8565 : 1977 Heald wire

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements of round steel wiresfor heald for the following purposes :

a) Healds for jacquard harness;

b) Healds for dobby harness;

c) Inset mail wire healds for jute weaving;

d) Contact wire healds for jute weaving;

e) Healds for cotton, silk, woollen and worsted weaving; and

f) Twin wire healds used for frame weaving.
