IS 8570 : 1977 Specification for Presspaper for Electrical Purposes

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers presspaper either dyed or of naturalcolour of four different types, each up to 0.5 mm thick, suppliedeither in roll form or as sheets cut from the roll, and with asmooth calendered finish.

Note - Presspaper is available in thickness greater than 0.5 mmand with other types of finish. For such presspaper, limits shouldbe the subject of agreement between the purchaser and themanufacturer.
