IS 8605 : 1977 Code of practice for construction of masonry in dams

1 Scope

1.1 This code covers requirements regarding quality of materialand general construction practices for stone masonry used in damsand other massive structures and aims at control of masonry workwith a view to ensuring strength, durability, impermeability anduniformity.

1.2 This code requires to be supplemented by specialinstbctions, if any, for each job.
