This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 2490 : 1996`Single-start solid (monobloc) gear bobs with tenon drive or axialkeyway, 1 to 40 module - Nominal dimensions issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theMilling Cutters, Saws, Gear Cutting Tools and Broaches SectionalCommittee and approval of the Basic and Production EngineeringDivision Council.
