1 Scope

1.1 This code (Part 1) covers unit weight/mass of materials, andparts or components in a building that apply to the determinationof dead loads in the design of buildings.

1.1.1 The unit weight/mass of materials that are likely to bestored in a building are also specified for the purpose of loadcalculations along with angles of internal friction as appropriate.

Note 1 : Table 1 gives the unit weight mass of individualbuilding materials in alphabetical order, Table 2 covers the unitweight mass of parts or components of a building: and Appendix Agives unit weight mass of stored materials.
