IS 8765 : 1978 Ceramic insulating materials for electrical purposes

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers ceramic materials, either moulded, castor extruded, to be used in the manufacture of bushings andinsulators. It provides a classification of these materials basedon their electrical characteristics.

It specifies limits and methods of test for electrical,mechanical, thermal and other general properties of the materials.
