1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the method of measuring colour ofclear liquid chemical products in platinum-cobalt scale units.

1.1.1 The method is applicable to liquids in which colourproducing bodies present have light absorption characteristicsnearly identical with those of platinum-cobalt unit colourstandard.
