IS 8870 : 1978 Specification for Asbestos Cement Cable Conduits and Troughs

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers asbestos cement cable conduits of 50 to150 mm diameter together with plastic couplings, asbestos cementconical couplings and asbestos cement collars with rubber rings.These are intended to accommodate all types of plastic coveredand/or sheathed paper insulated telecommunication and power cables.
