IS 8888 : Part 1 : 1993 Guide for requirements of low income housing Part 1 Urban area

1 Scope

1.1 This standard provides guidelines for the planning andgeneral building requirements of low income housing for houseshaving a maximum plinth area of 40 m².

1.2 The provisions of this Guide on layout planning of lowincome housing colonies are applicable to public and privateagencies/government bodies.

1.3 The provisions of this Guide on design and construction ofbuildings for low income housing in approved layouts are applicableto all private and public agencies.
