Covers the dimensions for spindle noses for use with adjustableadaptors of short, long and extra long types according to IS 8919 :Part I : 1978 `specification for adjustable adaptors for tools withself-holding taper shanks: Part I Short adaptors, IS 8919 (PartII)-1978 Specification for adjustable adaptors for tools withself-holding taper shanks: Part II Long adaptors and IS 8919 (PartIll)-1978. `Specification for adjustable adaptors for tools withself-holding taper shanks: Part III Extra long adaptorsrespectively used in multi-spindle machines, Typical applicationsof spindle noses are given in Appendix A.
