This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 7-2 : 2000`Pipe threads where pressure-tight joints are made on the threads -Part 2: Verification by means of limit gauges issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theEngineering Metrology Sectional Committee and approval of the Basicand Production Engineering Division Council.
