This Indian stanadard (Part 19/Sec 1 to 5) (First Revision) was adopted by the Indian Standard Institution on 28 August 1986, after the draft finalized by the Environmental Testing Procedures Sectional Committee had been approved by the Eletronics and Telecommunication Division Council.
