IS 9085 : 1979 Specification for Correction Slide for Mercury Barometers

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements of the correctionslide attached to a fixed cistern mercury barometer made to conformto the new barometer conventions for use on board ships. Itincludes the requirements of the thermometer which is an essentialcomponent of the slide.
