This Indian Standard (Part 3) which is identical with ISO 7404-3 : 1994 `Methods for the petrographic analysis of bituminous coal and anthracite - Part 3 : Method of determining maceral group composition' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of Solid Mineral Fuels Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
