1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the dimensions, requirements andmethods of tests for three-pole cable sealing boxes filledcompletely with insulating compound, for transformers havinghighest system voltages from 12 kV up to and including 36 kV foruse with paper insulated lead-sheathed cables conforming to IS 692: 1973. These boxes are suitable for operating indoors andoutdoors.
