IS 9158 : 1979 Cold-drawn high pressure fluid power cylinder tubes

1 Scope 

1.1 This standard covers the requirements of thefollowing types of cold-drawn high pressure fluid power cylinder tubes(including applications like shock absorbers, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders,etc):

a) Cold-drawn electric resistance welded (CEW), and

b) Cold-drawn seamless tubes (CDS).

1.2 This standard does not include tubes with specially machined bores.
