1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements of cotton chafer fabrics used in the manufacture of automobile tyres, other than motor-cycle and scooter tyres.

1.2 This standard also gives the constructional particulars of a few popular varieties of cotton chafer fabrics for information only.
