1. SCOPE

This standard prescribes methods of analysis of solid wastes (excluding industrial solid wastes) for the determination of the following:

a) Volatile and non-volatile matter;

b) Kjeldahl nitrogen;

c) Total nitrogen;

d) Carbon content;

e) pH;

f) Calorific value;

g) Potassium; and

h) Phosphorus.
