This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC Pub 554-2(1977) `Specification for cellulosic papers for electrical purposes- Part 2 : Methods of test' issued by the InternationalElectrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of the Solid ElectricalInsulating Materials Sectional Committee (ETD 02) and approval ofthe Electrotechnical Division Council.
