IS 9344 : 1979 Dimensions of toroidal strip-wound cores of magnetically soft material

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies dimensional and constructionalcharacteristics for toroidal cores wound from strips ofmagnetically soft steel or alloy having a thickness between 0.003and 0.35 mm.

1.1.1 It includes standard ranges of main dimensions, values forstrip thickness, marking and packing.

1.2 It does not cover dimensions of toroidal cores made frommagnetic oxides or ferromagnetic powder which are given in IS 7930: 1976.
