1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the constructional and performance requirements and methods of tests for rotary action ignition switches intended for use on 6, 12 and 24 V automotive electrical systems.

1.2 The ignition switch may be with or without lock. The requirements for lock are not covered in this specification.
