1 Scope

This standard covers the requirements of micrometer heads forgeneral use with the least count (resolution) of 0.01 mm andequipped with a spindle screw having a pitch of 0.5 mm or 1 mm.

Note - Micrometer heads include those with a mechanical digitaldisplay counter.
