IS 9550 : 2001 BRIGHT STEEL BARS - SPECIFICATION

1. Scope

This standard covers cold drawn, turned, turned and reeled, or ground steel bars of grades and cross sections regarded as generally suitable for heat treatment, for machining into component or for use in ‘as finished’ condition in constructional applications or other similar purposes, such as for the manufacture of threaded and machined components for general engineering purposes.
