This Indian Standard (Part 6) which is identical with IEC60581-5 : 1981 `High fidelity audio equipment and systems; Minimum performance requirements - Part 5: Microphones' issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of Acoustics Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Telecommunication Division Council.
