IS 9582 : Part 1 : 1980 Single-phase electric motors for definite purposes: Part 1 Domestic laundry machine motors

1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard ( Part I) covers motors for domestic laundry machines which provides power for driving a domestic electric clothes washing machine, dryer or combination of washer and dryer.

1.2 The motors covered by this standard may have windings with Class A, Class E or Class B insulations ( see IS : 1271-1958 * ).
