This Indian Standard (Part 1) (Second Revision) which is a modified adoption of ISO 6525 : 2018 ‘Plain bearings - Ring type thrust washers made from strip - Dimensions and tolerances’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Bearings Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
This standard was originally published in 1981 and subsequently revised in 1992. The first revision was based on ISO 6525 : 1983, ‘Plain bearings - Ring type thrust washers made from strip - Dimensions and tolerances’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The second revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 6525 : 2018.
