1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes a method for the determination ofcolour fastness of textile materials of all kinds and in all formsto the manufacturing operation designed to remove vegetableimpurities by a treatment with sulphuric acid at high temperatures.

1.1.1 The method is mainly applicable to wool and textilematerials containing wool.
