1 Scope

1.1 This standard describes properties of aluminium alkyls; thenature of hazards associated with them; essential information anddirection on storage, handling, packing, labelling; disposal ofwaste; cleaning and repair of tanks and equipment; selection andtraining; personal protective equipment and first-aid.

1.1.1 This code does not, however, deal with specifications fordesign of buildings, chemical engineering plants, storage vessels,equipment for waste disposal and operations control.
