This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC Pub 261 (1989)`Sealing test for pressurized waveguide tubing and assemblies',issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), wasadopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation ofthe Microwave Components and Accessories Sectional Committee (LTD19) and approval of the Electronics and Telecommunication DivisionCouncil.
Wherever the words `International Standard' appear referring tothis standard, they should be read as `Indian Standard'.
