IS 9838 : 1981 Method for determinattion of coating mass per unit area of conversion coatings on metallic materials by gravimetric method

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies gravimetric method for determining the coatingmass per unit area of conversion coatings on metallic materials.

1.2 The methods are applicable only to conversion coatings which are freefrom any supplementary coating, such as oil, water or solvent based polymers, orwax.
