IS 997 : 2026 Limestone and Dolomite for Glass and Ceramic Industry - Specification
1 SCOPE
1.1 This standard prescribes requirements and methods of sampling and test for limestone and dolomite for glass industry for making colourless glass and dolomite used for manufacture of ceramic whitewares.
1.2 Inferior grades of the material containing higher percentage of iron and used for making certain types of coloured glasses are not covered in this standard.
