1 Scope
1.1 This standard covers the general and performance requirements for colour television receivers.
1.1.1 The colour television receivers covered by this standardare intended for television reception on 625 line system and havingnegative picture modulation with associated frequency modulationsound reception on the intercarrier sound system. [This standardsystem B of International Radio Consultative Committee. In respect of colour the PAL B System with a colour subcarrier of 4.43 MHzhas been adopted (see IS 11453 : 1985 Characteristics of systems for monochrome and colour television)]
